It’s one of Málaga’s oldest and most traditional districts. The original beach houses once served as fish distribution points, and in earlier times, the Cenachero — a local fish vendor carrying woven baskets known as cenachas — would roam the streets offering the daily catch. That spirit of simplicity and warmth still lives on today.
